On March 21, 2022, the East Montpelier Selectboard adopted a resolution urging all EM residents to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus as well as encouraging businesses and other entities with public-facing aspects to implement face covering policies of their choice. See:
Also on March 21, 2022, the Selectboard rescinded its order regarding municipal operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The East Montpelier town office building is open, with some restrictions, to the public and committee meetings can once again be held in-person. We are still limiting access for land records research to a one-at-a-time basis, with appointments encouraged but not required. Mask use at this time is on a personal choice basis.
