FREE Workshop: Be better prepared for the next emergency!
Organized by the EM Emergency Preparedness Committee
Tuesday, May 19th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm (light snacks will be provided)
East Montpelier Fire Dept. Conference Room, 54 Village Acres, near C.P. Dudley Store
This FREE workshop will focus on individual and family emergency preparedness and what to do once we are in an emergency situation (flooding, snow or ice storm, high winds, etc.).
Topics to be covered will include learning about state and local resources, how to create a household readiness “Go Bag”, knowing what to do/how to get assistance once there is an emergency happening, understanding the support towns have from the state, and more!
Presenter: Sid Pollock, Regional Coordinator, Vermont Emergency Management and some of your neighbors.
We also plan to have additional workshops in the future including starting or building up your neighborhood group, so stay tuned!
